Business owners praise SGBC’s sensible AI workshop

VALDOSTA– The Southern Georgia Black Chambers (SGBC) complete neighborhood entrepreneurs with sophisticated modern technology abilities at its Small Business Academy session, “Leveling the Playing Field: AI for Local Business,” on Tuesday night. The hands-on workshop, led by SGBC President DeWayne Johnson, supplied a useful overview to using artificial intelligence devices like Google’s Gemini to raise effectiveness and drive business growth.

The session, held at the McMullen Southside Collection, attracted a group of entrepreneur eager to learn exactly how to integrate AI right into their daily procedures. Johnson walked guests through real-world applications, from automating social media web content and recording meetings to assessing intricate papers and resolving service difficulties.

The responses from participants was extremely positive, with numerous calling the experience a “game changer.” One participant, Qualynn Wilson, proprietor of QT’s Customization, explained the workshop as a deep dive into functional remedies. “It’s a lot extra,” she said. “It was a deep dive to how much more it could really aid and sustain my service, to take it to the following level, but not function so hard.”
